If your hotel room is equipped with an alarm clock, be sure to either turn it off or adjust the time the alarm will go off. There’s nothing worse than having a good night’s sleep interrupted at 3 a.m. because the previous guest had an early flight!
Always double check any possible extra charges — many cheap hotels have hidden fees that get added to your bill. One of the most common fees is a surcharge even on local telephone calls.
